Hero Magazine
This project is another one I created for my program at Parsons, mostly to learn the ropes on using and creating InDesign. The goal of the project was to simply create a magazine spread by our own design and from our imagination.
I set out to create a magazine that would stand out on the stand; something that would make someone want to purchase a print magazine for their coffee table in a world of digital media.
This is why I created Hero magazine - a music focused, modern style magazine inspired by publications such as The Fader, Pitchfork, and Interview magazine - while also being centered on editorial photography and a barebones approach.
Hero magazine would be akin to independent creative publications such as Whalebone, The Gentlewoman, and Cereal magazine.
